Sanjeev S Gadhia is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Astral Aviation Ltd, a leading Pan-African all-cargo airline connecting Africa to global markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

An entrepreneur and aviation industry leader with over 25 years of experience, he has played a pivotal role in advancing intra-African air cargo connectivity and strengthening supply chains across the continent.

At a time when Africa’s aviation sector is undergoing transformation, he is actively driving initiatives in fleet modernization, cargo hub development, and the creation of sustainable trade corridors to support economic integration and resilience.

He serves as a Board Member and Trustee of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and chairs the Cargo & Route Network Committee at the African Airlines Association (AFRAA). He was recognized as African Aviacargo Man of the Year (2023) and is a recipient of the AviaDev Africa Lifetime Achievement Award (2022).
