Mr. Josiah Mvula is the Planning and Business Development Manager at Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL), where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Zambia’s aviation connectivity. With over two decades of experience in the aviation sector, Mr. Mvula has been instrumental in driving passenger growth, route development, and airport aeronautical revenue growth across Zambia’s major airports.
Under his leadership, ZACL has successfully navigated post-pandemic recovery, surpassing pre-COVID passenger traffic levels and expanding international connectivity. His efforts have included enhancement of ground handling operations, and the strategic positioning of Zambia as a regional aviation hub within the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
Mr. Mvula’s expertise and forward-thinking approach have earned him recognition across the continent, including a Permanent seat at the ACI Africa Economics Regional Committee.
