Adonis was appointed Vice President Business Management, Middle East & Africa (MEA), in January 2024, where he is responsible for Airports & Airlines Business Development and presales activities in the Middle East and Africa, working closely with the Air Transport Industry senior leadership to improve every aspect of the business. His main objective is to create new growth opportunities for SITA across the region. Prior to this, Adonis was leading the Airports and Airlines Business Development activities in Middle East and Africa, a role he held since 2014.
With more than 20 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology and a specific focus on the Air Transport Industry, Adonis has gained significant experience in helping Airports and Airlines use technology to simplify passengers’ processes, improve baggage management, and optimize airport and airline operations.
He joined SITA in 2004 and gained his knowledge from various roles throughout the years. He has a strong background in the Aviation Industry, Emerging Technologies, and Business Development. He holds a Masters in Computer and Communications Engineering from the Lebanese University; he is also accredited by ACI-ICAO as an Airport Management Professional.
He is currently based in Dubai, UAE.
