Washington Dulles International Airport
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) manages Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) as the international and domestic gateways to Washington DC and the greater National Capital Region.
As the fastest growing international hub airport in the United States in both 2023 and 2025, Washington Dulles International Airport recorded another year of record growth in 2025 with over 29 million passengers, including 10.5 million international passengers. The airport has service to 69 international destinations, including 39 Capital to Capital routes, along with 100 domestic destinations.
Washington Dulles serves as the “Americas Gateway to Africa” with more nonstop African destinations than any other airport in North & South America, fitting for a region that is home to the largest ex-pat African population in the United States. Four airlines currently serve the African continent from Dulles International Airport with routes to seven destinations.
