Dominique DUMAS has been appointed Vice President Sales Africa & Indian Ocean in April 2016, leading ATR sales team in the region out of Toulouse based Headquarter until today. Prior to assuming this position, he was Vice President Sales North Asia & Philippines responsible for starting ATR Regional Office and operations in Tokyo, Vice President Sales for North Asia and ATR General Representative for China, before that he oversaw sales for Western Europe and the French Caribbean. Mr. DUMAS graduated from Toulouse Aeronautical University of Technology , holding a diploma in aircraft mechanical engineering and propulsion systems. He is further qualified in company management and hold a private pilot license. He began his career in Toulouse as an engine support engineer with Aerospatiale, before taking several assignments oversea for Airbus and later on for General Electric Commercial Engines and ATR. All together he spent more than 15 years abroad between: Cyprus, Yugoslavia, USA, West Africa, Italy, Russia, Finland, China & Japan. He joined ATR head office in 2003 to lead supplier’s management, maintenance economics and ATR MRO network department. In 2008 took also the responsibility of the ATR 600 program management for the customer support and services directorate. Dominique Dumas was born in 1964 in Burgundy, France, he is married and has two children.
