David King completed his studies in 2001 at Stellenbosch University with a BComm (Hons) Transport and Logistics Management and an M (Town and Regional Planning) after which he worked in London, UK for a year as a transport and town planner. Rupert Kraus started his professional career in 2000 at Austrian Airlines in Vienna, Austria. His passion for airline business was given from the beginning.

Keira Langford Johnson immersed herself in Proflight Zambia in 2005 after studying a BA in English and Communication Science at University in South Africa. Her passion at the time was reading and writing with a view to becoming a travel writer and journalist but after accepting a 3 month contract with Proflight she found it difficult to leave the buzz of the aviation sector.

Keira’s career at Proflight will hit a 20 year milestone in February 2025 and during this time she has filled roles in Ground Operations, Reservations, Operations, and Marketing before taking on Commercial Director in 2009 and is now serving as the airline’s Business Development Director. Keira has seen the airline transition from a private charter operation with a piston aircraft fleet to a schedule carrier operating turbo props and regional Jets. The growth to a schedule carrier started in 2005 and included the change in fleet but also the addition of GDS distribution, sourcing and setting up a PSS, moving to IATA eticketing, etc. The airline today flies both passengers and cargo and continues to operate ad hoc charter flights for passengers, cargo, baby elephants and more.

\n

Although Keira’s career has been limited to Proflight Zambia she has been actively involved in both the Zambian Aviation industry but also in the tourism sector which she is passionate about. Keira sat on the Board for Conservation Lower Zambezi for 6 years, was Secretary for the Aircraft Owners and Operators Association for 3 years, and serves on the Board for the Zambia Tourism Agency; part of the Zambian Ministry of Tourism while also being a non-executive director r of ProCharter, a private charter company operating in Zambia.

Outside of both Aviation and Tourism Keira sits on the Board of First Capital Bank Zambia, part of the FMB Capital Group.

Sean Mendis is a seasoned aviation executive with over two decades of experience in launching and managing airlines across Africa. Beyond airlines, Sean has also managed Mogadishu's Aden Abdulle International Airport in Somalia under contract from the Somali Federal Government. Graduated from a Master in Business Management at the University Paris 12/France in 2005, Zoe returned to Madagascar with the ambition to bring her experiences to develop the country.

After her first job of 3 years, in a company specializing in the export of high-end linens - the textile industry is also a sector that has an important place in the economy of Madagascar -, She decided to create her own business with her husband.

\n

After a few months of launching the restaurant, I decided to join Airtel Madagascar, a leader in the telecommunications industry and present in several operations in Africa. I stayed there for 10 years, going through several positions in BtoB and BtoC sales and launching new products.

\n

Zoe joined Ravinala Airports (the airport operator managing Antananarivo and Nosy be) as Commercial and Marketing Director in March 2019 as the project itself represents an economic turning point for Madagascar and she really wanted to be part of this beautiful adventure because her country deserves to be known and recognized for its wealth and beauty!

Zoe's team is mainly responsible for providing services to international standards for passengers, airlines and the airport community. They also take care of marketing and development of the passengers and cargo traffic to our 2 airports and since last year, we created a Real Estate department to be able to launch some great new infrastructures projects.

Bisey is currently Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Airports Company since May 2019 following some years’ of instability within the organisation. He is tasked with ensuring that NAC achieves its aims of being a customer centric company, organisational transformation, good corporate governance, revenue sustainability and safe / secure operations at all 8 airports within his jurisdiction.

\n

Prior to Namibia Airports Company, Bisey spent 10 years as the Chief Executive Officer of the Namibian Ports Authority. He also worked in senior and executive management capacities in the mobile telecommunications environment at MTC, Namibia’s leading mobile telecommunications provider, and Somali Telecoms Group, the oldest private telecommunications provider in the greater Somalia Region. He was responsible for the human resources function in both these institutions. Prior to joining the telecommunications industry, Bisey worked for Bank of Namibia as Human Resources & Training Manager and for the Legal Assistance Centre, as Paralegal & Office Manager.

\n

Bisey is currently the President of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry since December 2020, but has served on the Board of NCCI since 2010. Other Boards that he currently serves on include: Sanlam Namibia (Chairman) and Pupkewitz Group Holdings. Over the years, he also served on the Boards of several institutions, including the Institute of Bankers of Namibia, Namibia Employers Federation, Employment Equity Commission, Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), Legal Assistance Centre, Namibia Qualifications Authority (alternate), Namibia Red Cross Society, Walvis Bay Corridor Group, International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) and Port Management Association of Eastern and Southern Africa (PMAESA).

\n

Under Bisey’s stewardship, Namport’s balance sheet grew from N$2 Billion in 2009 to over N$7 Billion in 2018. During this period, Namport implemented major infrastructural and logistics projects, including the construction of the New Container Terminal at the Port of Walvis Bay, development of the Walvis Bay North Port initiative, as well as infrastructural optimisation of the current container terminal. He has been instrumental in positioning Namibia as a Logistics Hub across all transport sectors.

\n

Bisey holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School (Herriot-Watt University) in Scotland, in addition to his other academic and professional qualifications.

\n

Bisey lectured the following MBA courses on a part-time basis: Human Resources Management, Strategic Management & Managing Strategic Change, for MANCOSA and Organisational Behaviour & Management, for Regent Business School.

Gad's unique combination of global airline proficiency (living and working in Dubai, New York, London, Lagos, Dallas, and Johannesburg) coupled with leading industry experience (many years at America’s largest domestic carrier, Southwest Airlines).

\n

He helped lead the international expansion of Southwest Airlines bringing low fares and legendary customer service to Latin America, Caribbean, and Mexico.

\n

Later his transition to Management Consulting with Sabre provided the opportunity to make more of a global impact in the industry.

\n

Today, he is in the OEM world with Embraer Commercial Aviation.
